In an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss, Palermo owner Maurizio Zamparini spoke about his team’s star midfielder Franco Vasquez.
“Vazquez is the best midfielder we have in Italy, he can also be a part of Conte’s team.”
Vazquez has been one of the key players for Palermo this season and it’s no surprise that he is being linked with teams such as Milan, Inter and Chelsea. It’s safe that there will be a battle between big clubs for his signing in January but according to Zamparini, he will stay with the Rosanero throughout the season.
“I’ve had two requests from the big clubs and I think that if this continues it will be his last season in Palermo. Milan, Inter and Chelsea have made inquiries, but I made it clear to them that he won’t leave in January. Napoli could be interesting but it depends on Sarri’s demands, who is a very calm person.”
