Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio returned to the lineup following his injury and helped his side triumph over Empoli by a score of 1-0.
In his post-match interview with Sky, Il Principino said,:
“At times, we dropped too deep. Empoli are a good team and put us under pressure but we were good on the counter where we found plenty of spaces. From today on, every point won is very important. We have to analyze the games to look to get better. A lot of us were coming back from long injury layoffs and it’s important the team has performances like these, giving their all. We can only think of our own path. Napoli are a great team. Despite what the calendar may say, you still have to go on the field and play the games. We just did it, now it’s their turn.”
