Rüdiger: 6.5. All around solidity, and made his size count.
Digne: 7. Assisted for El Shaaraway’s opening goal, and was omnipresent on the left flank.
Pjanic: 6.5. Did pretty much whatever he wanted as Roma’s playmaker today. Hit the post in the first half in what would have been one of this Sunday’s more beautiful goals.
Keita: 6. Carried out Spalletti’s instructions to a tee without too much tremor .
Nainggolan: 7. The Belgian was Roma’s gladiator today: snapping at his opponents ankles, fought the good fight, the best fighter in today’s midfield trench warfare. Replaced by Iago Falque at the 26th minute of the second half: 6.5 for the Spaniard.
Salah: 6. Less devastating than usual wasted a wonderful opportunity to put his side up 2-0. Replaced by Zukanovic at the 36th minute of the second half: not enough time to evaluate him.
Perotti: 7. Once more shows his brilliance and importance in Roma’s offensive movements and game plays. Scores the goal that puts the game beyond doubt.
El Shaarawy: 7. Eluded Lazio’s defence all game. Perfect movement in occasion of the goal that breaks the ice, the first of his Derby della Capitale. Replaced at the 15th minute of the second half by Dzeko: 6.5 for the Bosnian who makes no mistake to punch in Roma’s 2-0 goal: has make more mistakes for easier goals: Spalletti’s cure is working.
