Juventus forward Paulo Dybala spoke to reporters about the importance of today’s win against Bologna and highlighted his satisfaction at his game-winning goal.
After going down 1-0 early thanks to an Anthony Mounier strike, Juventus rallied back with goals from Alvaro Morata, Paulo Dybala and Sami Khedira. The Argentina converted his penalty kick and scored the important second goal of the game. After the game, he told Sky Sport,:
“When we conceded the early goal, we struggled a bit at the beginning. We did, however, did extremely well to react quickly in order to win a game that we absolutely needed the three points from. With respect to the game against Frosinone, we were a bit lucky but that’s only normal. I’m really happy with my performance and goal. I do as I’m told out there. I must give my all when I play and that’s something that I will always do.”
This was the former Palermo man’s second consecutive start and he’s starting to really come into his own. In addition to his individual brilliance, it appears that he and Morata are beginning to develop a potent partnership. Moving forward, this is something that Massimiliano Allegri will welcome.
In regards to the penalty shot, Dybala said,:
“I took it because the coach asked me to. It was supposed to be Pogba but in the end Allegri wanted me to take it. In any case, the team is united.”
The Juventus forward later added,:
“We are satisfied with the win but we can’t always concede from the opposition’s first shot on goal.
