Among those who were training with the Azzurri at Coverciano, Lorenzo Insigne was not one of them.
The Napoli attacker has been sidelined with some discomfort to the knee. The team doctor Castellacci made a few reassurances to the media who were present for a statement.
“Lorenzo suffered a knock during the last game [against AC Milan] on his knee close to one of the ligaments. Yesterday he advised us of the knock and in agreement with Napoli, today we drained the fluid from he knee and allowed him to rest.”
Insigne has 4 days to recover before the clash with Azerbaijan in Baku on Saturday.
