Lazio extend their Serie A winning streak to 3 following a dominant 2-0 victory over Frosinone in Rome.
For the first time this season Lazio saw their offense produce at a high level. The team had 11 shots on goal and held Frosinone to just 33% possession in the affair.
Stefano Pioli was pleased with the spirit and character put forth by his team during his post game interview with Sky.
“We suffered in the first half because, despite playing well, we were unable to take the lead. We lacked the final play. When you don’t break the tie you keep your opponent alive that still played well.”
“We wanted this victory. We played with so much spirit and character and this is very important.”
Lazio will need to keep their current form as they have a difficult game against Sassuolo on October 18th.
