One of the most sought-after managers in world football today and former AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti had plenty to say recently. He spoke on many teams such as Juve, Roma and Milan and plenty more.
According to La Gazzetta dello sport, Ancelotti touched on many different topics but one of the firsts was about coaching the Azzurri. The former AC Milan man said that he does not have a strong temptation to coach the national team especially after Conte. He mentions that he wants to return to club level and he has a strong desire to win a champions league title again.
“Juventus can still win the Scudetto, anything can happen” – said Ancelotti. The Former Real Madrid man said Juve are still in the race and also mentions that Roma needs to find a balance between there offensive potential and their defensive vulnerability.
This past summer rossoneri fans were hoping and praying for their beloved coach to return back to the San Siro. His return was talked about greatly, Ancelotti said: “I was quite Close and Galliani pressed hard.” The Former Real Madrid man reluctantly declined the position and Mihajlovic was hired.
Ancelotti went on to talk about Napoli’s Success and praises coach Sarri for his great work with the team and that he has given them an identity. He also mentions that he would choose Higuain as a foreigner and Insigne, Baselli, Romagnoli and Bernardeschi to be on his team and that there are many young Italian players making way.
Mancini and Mourinho were also mentioned with Ancelotti saying:”Mancini is very good and capable, the team plays athletic and dynamic football, perhaps less quality, but is taking advantage of the characteristics of the team.” With Mourinho he says: “The problem is never the coach. The team is not doing as well as last year, Mourinho is always the same top coach whether in victory or defeat.”
The great Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with many great clubs most recent link has been with Bayern Munich if Guardiola were to leave. He is also open to move to England but wants manage top clubs like Man U and Arsenal.
In classic Real Madrid fashion only one season after winning La Decima, Ancelotti was sacked by Madrid: “I was disappointed, because I had very good relationships with team and i still had plenty to give.” He expected Benitez to have difficulties because of the pressure and the environment that comes from the fans and from the president in Madrid.
