Longo done at Frosinone?

The struggles continue for Inter-owned Samuele Longo

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, the 23-year Italian striker is no longer in the plans of Frosinone manager Roberto Stellone and will leave the club.

The current option by Inter is to offer Longo to Serie B side, Crotone where the Calabrian club will have to evaluate his inclusion. On paper, there is no room the former U-21 International but should Raffaele Palladino consider becoming an alternative to Federico Ricci in the midfield, there is a slight chance Longo can compete with the in-form Ante Budimir up top.

In the mean time, Inter have received an official offer from Croatian club Hadjuk Split for Samuele Longo. Inter will now have multiple options to evaluate over the course of the next few days before coming to a final decision.

Frosinone was Longo‘s 5th club in the last 4 years which also included loan stints at Espanyol, Verona, Rayo Vallecano & Cagliari. He has only made one appearance for his parent club Inter and has not scored since his Coppa Italia brace for Cagliari on December 4th, 2014 in a 5-4 win versus Modena via Penalties.
