Recent reports in Italy are suggesting that Lazio keeper Federico Marchetti may be on his way out from the club with England as a potential destination.
England could become a new destination for the Lazio shot-stopper. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Jurgen Klopp is looking for some added insurance in the Goalkeeper position to aid Simon Mignolet and have inquired about the availability of Federico Marchetti.
Marchetti‘s contract comes to an end in June and he could be tempted by the bright lights of the EPL. With a guaranteed three competitions and potentially a fourth should Liverpool qualify for Europe, a veteran keeper such as Marchetti would be an added boost between the posts for the Reds.
The 32-year old has spent his entire career in Italy and has called Lazio home since 2011. Marchetti has made 14 appearances so far this season but is currently nursing a hamstring injury.
