Fiorentina playmaker Federico Bernardeschi spoke after his team’s 2-0 victory over Chievo and underlined their good performance against a difficult opponent.
Bernardeschi wasn’t able to get his name on the score-sheet but put in a solid performance nonetheless. After the game, he was asked to rate his team’s display on the night. The Italian winger told Sky,:
“In my opinion we merit a rating of 8. We played a great first half. It was a difficult week, we suffered two losses and it was fundamental to win. We wanted to do well. We played a match “a la Fiorentina”, like we demonstrated we can this year. We know our strengths and it would be shameful not to try remaining on top. I am happy to play with continuity. As for the Euro, it’s not up to me to talk about it.”
