Fiorentina get an important win today as they defeat Chievo 2-0. Paul Sousa expressed his satisfaction at the result after the game.
Paulo Sousa spoke after the match with Sky. The Portuguese tactician said,:
“I am happy for the lads after a particularly difficult week. There was no better way to give the viola family best wishes than with a good result. We had a good performance and we’re happy with our play. We know we have limits but these victories allow us to be in the position we are in the standings. We will take time to rest and clear our heads during the break.”
Regarding the January transfer window mercato, the former Basel boss said,:
“To maintain this quality and consistency, everyone, including the club, has to give more. To maintain a certain position requires reinforcements. Nothing has changed since I arrived here. The fans have given us a boost to remain competitive for a while now. The best way to compete must start within the team.
