After moving to Sevilla, Ciro Immobile has failed to impress and is once again looking for a place to call home.
A former capocannoniere in his homeland but a disappointment abroad, Ciro Immobile is no longer that clinical threat who puts fear in opponent’s final third. While currently enduring a lackluster experience in Sevilla, the ex-Torino goalscorer has a desire to return to Italy and according to La Gazetta dello Sport, Sampdoria could offer him that ticket back.
Muriel and Cassano have not convinced Montella since his arrival, with neither dominating in the central forward role. Their inefficiencies up front can be an advantage for Immobile who could return to a starting role in Serie A.
The 25-year old Naples native has made 7 appearances for Sevilla this term, scoring his only goal of the season vs Real Madrid.
