Seldomly used Napoli defender Giandomenico Mesto is heading to the Greek Superleague.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, Panathinaikos have signed the 33-year old Italian who made a total of 34 Serie A appearances for Napoli over the course of the last two and a half seasons.
The announcement of Mesto‘s signing was made official on the club’s website:
”Panathinaikos announce the signing of Italian defender Giandomenico Mesto. Mesto, who will be available to managers Andrea Moretti and Bruno Cirillo, has signed a contract until June 2020. ”
Mesto had been at Napoli since 2012, where he won a Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
