Inter have mustered one point in their last two games. The Milano outfit lost 1-4 embarrassingly to Fiorentina at home and luckily drew away to Sampdoria after Ivan Perisic scored his first goal for the club.
After starting the Serie A campagin with five straight wins, it seems as Inter is coming back down to Earth. This crack in the facade, although minor, is not going unnoticed. Inter, in the span of these two games have given up first place to Fiorentina.

Ivano Bordon, longtime Inter goalkeeper, spoke to TMW in an exclusive interview:
“The last two games should be evaluated very carefully. In the match against Fiorentina, everything became more difficult after the team went down to 10 men. Against Sampdoria, the team was too slow and this gave Sampdoria the gift of the counter-attack.”
What are the defects that need to be eliminated for this Inter side to be title contenders?
“First thing: speed up the game. Get to the goal and back to defend quicker. Second: be more clinical in front of goal.”

Jovetic was called up to the national team but is injured, your thoughts?
“The national team always pushes to have its best players represent it. I believe that his recovery will be a fast one but the evaluation of his physical state must be monitored closely. The risk of a relapse must be avoided.”
Do you believe Inter has what it takes to challenge for the title? What are their chances?
” With Inter, there are four or five other clubs that are up for the challenge. Juventus can even reenter the chase if these other teams give them the opportunity. I think, up until Christmas, the rankings will be very tight. Come January, it will be up to the values and qualities of the eventual winner that will give them the big push.”
