Juventus are keen on eliminating the buyback clause in Alvaro Morata’s contract in hopes of making the forward’s stay with the club a permanent one.
Earlier in the week, Alvaro Morata was asked about the possibility of returning to Real Madrid in the near future due to his buyback clause. In the past the forward remained neutral regarding this issue but his latest words indicate an interesting change. The Juventus man said,:
“On paper I could go back to Madrid, but there are things that go beyond buyback options, such as your personal happiness.”
On the basis of these comments, you would think that the player’s will is to remain in Italy. Despite any clause that may allow Real Madrid to purchase the player, his will is the decisive factor.
In recent days, EcoDiario have reported that Juventus are working hard at trying to nullify the player’s buyback clause by offering Alvaro Morata a new contract. The player is currently pondering the bianconeri’s offer with his entourage and he appears to be further away from Real Madrid.
When Fabrizio Ravanelli was asked about Morata he said,:
“He’s going to stay at Juventus. He’s a true forward.”
