Andrea Bertolacci made his return for Milan against Hellas Verona on Sunday, coming off the bench in the second half and providing a boost to the side. He spoke about the match
Bertolacci, according to the club site, on the refereeing decisions:
“I don’t like to comment on the match-officials, but we had two goals disallowed in the first half. We have to try and move on though. We’re a strong team and I will continue to say it because it’s true and we must come out of this situation together.”
The former Roma and Genoa midfielder spoke about the recent performances:
“Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to collect maximum points from the past two matches. We’re disappointed because on paper they were two winnable fixtures. We wanted to improve our position in the league table and these past two matches were good chances to do that. We now have a tough match on Thursday away at Sampdoria in the TIM Cup and then we face Frosinone. We need to bounce back right away.”
The Azzurri player on the upcoming Coppa Italia fixture with Sampdoria:
“Let’s focus now on the TIM Cup. It won’t be easy against Sampdoria as they are a tough team to beat at the Marassi.”
