“He wanted me at Juventus and has continued to rate me highly since taking the Italy job. I was sidelined for along time last year due to an injury, but I feel fine this year. It helps a lot being able to play regularly and hopefully it will help stay in good shape until the end of May.”
On Donadoni
“If I’m here, I owe it to him, coach Delio Rossi and my teammates..”
On the overall squad
“Everyone is important here and no one is indispensable. We may not have a Messi or a Cristiano Ronaldo in our squad, but we have good players who can stand up when needed. We also always put in a strong team effort on the pitch
