Three new names could be featured in the Starting XI tomorrow as Conte sticks with his 3-4-3 formation.
The Azzurri are set to retain their 3-4-3 formation against Germany but a new attacking trio could feature from the opening minute. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Conte tested out the trident of Insigne, Zaza and Bernardeschi up front. The morning training session included a mix of technical and tactical drills, along with athletic as the players split their time between the gym and field.
Conte had split the squad into two teams after the first session, sticking with his 3-4-3 set-up. Aside from the aforementioned trio, the back three consisted of Darmian, Bonucci and Acerbi. In the midfield, Florenzi and Giaccherini occupied roles on the flanks while Montolivo and Motta made up the central duo. Conte had later made a few changes to as De Silvestri replaced Florenzi on the right side of the midfield, Jorginho and Parolo took over the central midfield from Montolivo and Motta, and finally El Shaarawy was inserted in the place of Insigne.
The squad will depart for Munich this afternoon and a press conference from Antonio Conte will follow. It must be noted that Giacomo Bonaventura will stay back in Italy as he was pulled from training due to an illness.
