In today’s pre-game press conference Italy boss Antonio Conte confirmed that he is leaving and there is nothing that can change his mind.
According to reports, Antonio Conte will sign with Chelsea in July but it has not yet been confirmed. Today, however, the Italy boss stated that he has no plans of staying with the national team past this summer and will return to the club shortly. In his press conference, he said.:
“My decision doesn’t depend on any results, either positive or negative. I want to return to coaching. Today I was reflecting about this. Tomorrow, we will play and then for two months I’ll be free to dedicate myself to my family. I’ll miss these moments but my decision to leave is definitive, I miss the field.”
