Fiorentina defender Davide Astori believes his team could have been more clinical up front while praising Frosinone with their defending.
“Frosinone wanted the point and they got it. They defended very well and took advantage of our unbalanced offence while creating problems for us on their counter attack. We could have scored 2-3 goals but we were unable to especially due to their good defending.”
“Are we surprised about Frosinone? We knew that everyone else that played here had their work cut out for them. We could have scored however we were not sharp with our finishing. Congrats to Frosinone for defending the result. Champions League? The other (contending) teams tied therefore we continue to believe.”
