A few car crashes and injuries later, the out of favor Uruguayan seems set to depart Turin.
Martin Caceres is the newest name on the block for Spalletti’s Roman renaissance. It’s a concrete idea, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. Sporting Director Walter Sabatini has met with the agent of the Uruguay international, Daniel Fonseca.
Juventus aren’t keen however, on selling the Uruguayan to a league rival, but there’s also pressing from Napoli. Both the Giallorossi and the Partenopei are looking to acquire a defender with extensive international history.
The 28 year old has played in only 9 matches this season with Juventus. His season ended prematurely due to an achilles’ tendon rupture suffered a few months ago.
