Azzurri, Renzo Ulivieri: ”FIGC Were Not Advised Of Call For Conte”

Renzo Ulivieri says he is quite unhappy that the FIGC were not advised by the interested club that they were going to be calling Antonio Conte about his availability.

Since it was announced that Antonio Conte is leaving his position as Azzurri CT after the European Championships, many figures in Italian Football have begun speaking out on the matter. Renzo Ulivieri, the head of the Association of Italian Football Managers, recently voiced his displeasure on how Conte’s departure has unraveled.

It was known that Conte would depart the National Team, an official statement was not needed. What bothers me is that a club would contact the manager of a National Team without notifying the Federation. It means we are living in a world without the minimum education and manners.
