Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa admits his team is currently going through a difficult time, and was disappointed about not being able to score in yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Frosinone.
“We created many chances to win, its too bad we didn’t convert them into goals. We did not lack courage, we are just going through a difficult time like it happens to all teams during the season. Frosinone were very aggressive and provoked us.”
“We tried everything to get the three points that we deserved, we (didn’t capitalize) and remain in the same position in the standings. We must continue on our path and try to win playing our football. I am satisfied with the lads who tried to win at all costs. Frosinone is trying to avoid relegation and were motivated.”
“The Champions League spot is slipping away given the other results.”
