It’s now seven in a row for Roma. The giallorossi win another one as they beat Fiorentina 4-1.
Here are the match ratings for the Roma players:
GOALKEEPER:
Szczesny (6.5): Unlucky not to get a clean sheet but he also didn’t have much to do. His highlight of the net was telling off the ref.
DEFENDERS:
Florenzi (7): We all know Florenzi isn’t a right back, but today he did well there. No real threat from Fiorentina on his flank and Florenzi was constantly running up and down. Good night from Roma’s captain.
Manolas (8.5): Brilliant as always from the Greek defender. Szczesny didn’t have much to do in large part thanks to Manolas and Rudiger. Fantastic night from the defender.
Rudiger (8.5): Like Manolas, Rudiger was brilliant tonight. Nothing was getting behind him. He’s in terrific form and he continued that tonight.
Digne (7): He gave up the penalty but overall Digne was good tonight. Always attacking down the left flank but also making a lot of important defensive plays.
MIDFIELDERS:
Keita (7.5): Keita, who was average vs Empoli last week, was good tonight. Put a lot of passes together and was always helping out the Roma defence when they needed it.
Pjanic (9): He wasn’t MOTM but you can debate that he was. Regardless, Pjanic was brilliant tonight connecting all the plays for Roma. Anchored the team today and also picked up a fantastic assist on Roma’s 4th goal.
Nainggolan (8): Radja Nainggolan as always worked hard and was a catalyst for Roma today. Offered his services in the defence, the midfield and the attack.
FORWARDS:
Salah (9.5): Our man of the match. Salah played with a point to prove against his former teammates and boy did he get his point across. 2 goals and an assist for Salah tonight.
Perotti (8.5): Maybe if he was given a bit more time he could caused more damage but Perotti was still very good tonight. Bringing the false 9 back to Rome? Goal and an assist for him tonight.
El Shaarawy (9): Who’s stopping El Shaarawy? He scored his 5th goal for Roma today and also picked up an assist. Another brilliant game from the Italian. Euro 2016 is calling.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
William Vainqieur (6.5): Didnt do much and he didn’t have too. Was just average off the bench.
Francesco Totti (7): Totti with only 15 minutes of playing time showed he might still have something in the tank. Nearly scored a goal as well.
