On Fiorentina
“We are happy with what we’re doing but we can’t stop now. It’s not going to be easy vs Fiorentina as they play great football. We need to build on our performances and get 3 points. We can overtake them in the standings. It’s a very vital important match because if we win we can move solely into 3rd place. We’re in a good spell both physically and mentally, we are going to need full focus come Friday vs Fiorentina. They can hurt you at anytime, but we know what we’re capable of.”
On his brace vs Empoli
“An amazing feeling. I was delighted to get my first brace with Roma, but like the team I don’t want to let up now”
Catching Napoli
“It’s possible. We need to take each game as it comes. We need to focus on winning Friday, then we’ll see what happens”
On Spalletti
“Spalletti is a fantastic coach who knows how to communicate with his players. He’s turned things around both technically and tactically. We must stick with him as the results have been good. It’s our job to implement what we do in training into games”
On Pallotta
“He made a great impression. He told me well done for my start here at Roma then congratulated me on my goals. Both Pallotta and Spalletti have told me to not let up yet. We have achieved nothing.”
