Giampiero Ventura spoke about Ciro Immobile’s comeback as the player he remembers from two years ago.
Since returning to Torino after unsuccessful spells with Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla, Ciro Immobile has regained his scoring touch at a rapid rate. In a recent press conference, Torino manager Giampiero Ventura highlighted Immobile’s return to form. A form that has led him to score 3 goals and collect 4 assists in 9 games.
The situation compared to two years ago is very different. Two years ago, he came off a less than spectacular year at Genoa where he found it quite difficult. This year, however, he returned after a year and half where he was no longer playing the style he was accustomed with us. Now, he is once again starting to do the things he had done two years ago. He has a great deal of desire and he is on the right path. Immobile can carve out an important space inside the team.
