Giovinco talks about wanting to earn a call-up for the National Team and admits he does miss the Serie A environment.
Speaking to La Gazetta dello Sport, former Juventus striker and reigning MLS MVP, Sebastian Giovinco discusses his desire to return to the National Team and on his time in the MLS.
On Toronto FC:
I am doing very well in Toronto but I do miss the ambiance of Serie A a bit. At the moment, I do not have the intention of moving from here.
On a call-up to the Azzurri:
I do think about it. Some have said that I would not return to the National Team, instead I have done well here and I was called back. The coach said that there are no limits (in regards to his call-ups), therefore, it depends on me to earn a call-up. The coach already has his ideas but three months is enough time to make changes.
On competiting with Immobile & Zaza for a call-up:
It is better to be in the discussion. If the coach calls me and if take the field in France, he will play me as a second striker.
