Antonio Conte spoke to RAI before announcing his official 23 man roster for the Euros
“The dream must always be part of our life, dreaming gives you that motivation to reach an objective that today perhaps may only be a dreamed. I think that no one should stop us from dreaming, otherwise we’d be dead.”
“We’re working well, we’re looking to create something good to amaze and make the Italian people proud. We haven’t won the Euro since 1968 and this makes us realize the great span of time of difficulty that we’ve endured in this competition. We’re looking to keep our feet on the ground, one little step at a time, looking to get passed the group stage and then we’ll see what the future has in store for us”.
Italy kick off their Euro 2016 adventure against Belgium on June 13th at the Stade de Lyon.
