The Bianconeri’s super-sub striker could be the key piece that loosens Valencia’s grip on their star midfielder.
André Gomes has been one of the hottest names that has appeared an the top of Juventus’ transfer list but the Scudetto holders may have to let loose one of their own in return to strike a deal. According to Tuttosport, Valencia have made an inquiry during negotiations for the inclusion of striker Simone Zaza as part of the deal.
Valencia are not planning to back down on his the Portuguese’s €60 million release clause while Juventus are ready to invest up to €30 million for his services, plus an eventual €20 million in bonuses. The insertion of Zaza, who Juventus value at around €30 million, could tilt the move in the Bianconeri’s favor as it would lower the cash amount expected to close the deal.
