Roma intend to keep their French left-back for the long run and have submitted their offer to the Ligue 1 champions.
After leaving a lasting impression in Rome this season, racking up 3 goals and 3 assists in 33 appearances for the Giallorosso, Roma are ready to make the Lucas Digne a permanent resident in the Eternal City. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have proposed two different offers to Paris Saint-Germain to sign the French left-back outright: A deferred purchase of €5 million plus €6 million in bonuses or €11 million to be paid up front.
Paris Saint-Germain are to reflect on the offer but an answer is not expected until after June 30th, when the loan officially comes to an end. However, there is one factor that may tip the balance in Roma’s favor. Digne‘s wife, Tiziri, a current University student who followed her husband to Rome last year via the Erasmus Program (student exchange program), is in the middle of studying for her exams and plans to enroll for classes next year in the capital city. This decision could end up forcing PSG’s hand to possibly accept one of Roma’s two offers.
