Cataldi’s agent believes his client was well-deserving of his selection to Antonio Conte’s preliminary pre-Euro squad.
Yesterday, Azzurri CT Antonio Conte announced his preliminary 28-player squad for a Pre-Euro training camp and one of the names that managed to receive a call was Lazio’s Danilo Cataldi. In a recent interview with Tuttomercatoweb, the player’s agent Roberto De Fanti expressed his happiness at his client’s selection:
Danilo has already played 50 games at Lazio where he was also the youngest captain in club history. It is now the reality of Italian football. Conte has never made a secret of his admiration for him. The National Team is his natural place for the present and the future.
We renewed the contract until 2020 because Lazio consider him one of the team’s mainstays. He also has no intention of leaving the club who raised him and who believed in his talent since day one.
