The Turin giants have re-written the books of history in the last five years, annihilating not only the competition but over 20 Serie A records.
Juventus has risen from the ashes of two consecutive seventh place finishes building a dynasty that has “made hi5tory”, as their social media tagline boasts.
Five consecutive scudetto victories have rewritten the pages of modern Italian football, equalling the feats of the Juventus of Combi and Caligaris of the early 1930s, of the Grande Torino of the mid-forties, and of Inter’s five year post-calciopoli streak [insert asterisk here].
But the five-year hegemony in Italian football was not the only record that this Juventus has accomplished. To our count, 22 (yes, TWENTY-TWO) records have been set in this golden period.
The bianconeri have extended their count of most 1) scudetti (34 or 32), 2) Coppa Italia (10) and 3) Italian Supercups (7) won: highest in Italy in each respective category.
