Gerson expresses his happiness at choosing Roma over other clubs and believes he has already begun adapting to his new surroundings.
In a recent interview with Goal, former Fluminense prospect Gerson spoke about what will be a new experience in a Roma jersey:
I will accompany my parents and my daughter. I believe their presence will help me settle in. In these upcoming weeks, I am studying Italian to understand what the manager and my teammates are going to say to me. I feel I’ve already adapted to the city, for me it was the best choice. Totti is an excellent person, he is like a God at Roma but in reality, he is calm and easy-going. De Rossi and Maicon are the other teammates I admire.
