Milan progidy Gianluigi Donnarumma has his sights set on breaking into the National Team and thanks Mihajlovic for giving him his first appearance this season.
Speaking to the media following his acceptance of the ”Revelation of the Year” award at the Football Leader event in Amalfi, Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma discussed his progress this season and his dream of representing the Azzurri:
At the beginning of the season, I did not expect to play. I thank Mihajlovic for having given me this chance. I want to thank the team who have always made my feel a part of the group. To be a winning team, you have to be united.
The National Team is the highest a guy can aim for. I hope to continue working hard and earn a call-up.
