Italy coach Antonio Conte will release his final 23 later in the evening today for the Euro 2016 finals.
Sky Sports published a projected 23 man list ahead of the official list that comes out around 8:45 PM local time in Italy.
Goalkeepers: Buffon, Marchetti, Sirigu
Defenders: Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Darmian, De Sciglio, Ogbonna
Midfielders: Bernardeschi, Candreva, De Rossi, El Shaarawy, Florenzi, Giaccherini, Sturaro, Thiago Motta, Parolo
Attackers: Eder, Immobile, Insigne, Pellé, Zaza
Reserve: Zappacosta, Rugani, Benassi
If this holds true, Jorginho and Bonaventura would be cut from the team which would definitely be a suspect move considering their respective form this season.
As of typical Italy coaches, before every tournament usually a few young players stay to train with the squad to gain valuable experience with the senior national team. Of that list, none of the players have made their senior debut.
