The Dutch playmaker has been on Napoli’s radar for quite some time, it is looking like Napoli could finally have a deal in place to land the Dutchman.
As reported by Sky Italia earlier today, Napoli and Ajax are close to reaching an agreement for the playmaker. The fee is reported to be around €18million + bonuses reaching a total of €25million, as Ajax value the player at €25million.
If Davy Klaassen accepts the destination, as he aspires to play Champions League football, the deal will be closed and Napoli will have made their second coup of the summer after former Empoli player Lorenzo Tonelli. Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Italia states that the next 10 days could prove crucial in the developments of the impending transfer deal.
Expect there to be further updates of Klaassen-Napoli in the coming days as the wait for the summer transfer window heats up.
