More bad news for Milan as their reliable defender is set to miss out of the Coppa Italia final against Juventus.
According to MilanNews.it, Abate hasn’t been called up for tomorrow’s game against Roma due to a pain in the sole of his foot. The injury is causing him all sorts of problems and is in serious doubt of not only missing this weekend’s game against Roma but also next week’s clash against Juventus.
Under Sinisa Mihajlovic, Abate re-established himself as one of the rossoneri’s more reliable defenders and once again emerged as a regular in the Azzurri setup. With the Coppa Italia final and the Euros around the corner, both Milan and Italy will be hoping he recovers quickly.
