Inter are step up their pursuit of Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi, but first they need to know the player’s intentions.
Domenico Berardi’s future has become a very hot topic. The Italian attacker is owned by Sassuolo and recently rejected the chance to join Juventus earlier this month. However, the bianconeri are still a major player in Berardi’s future and are believed to have the first refusal on the player. Juventus’s involvement has not intimidated Inter, who are pushing to sign the player.
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter are confident that they can sign Domenico Berardi. The nerazzurri have raised their 25 million euro offer to Sassuolo and they are offering the player a salary of 2.5 million euros per year. First, Piero Ausilio needs to know what Berardi wants. Although Berardi has a great relationship with his coach, Eusebio Di Francesco, he is tempted by the prospect of starting for a big club like Inter. Mancini’s side need to get Berardi’s answer as soon as possible.
Domenico Berardi was co-owned by Juventus until the summer of 2015, when Sassuolo bought the player outright.
