OFFICIAL: Atalanta acquires Swansea City forward Paloschi

Alberto Paloschi comes back home to Italy

He has been acquired by Atalanta for €7 million, and signed a 5-years deal. Gian Piero Gasperini, the Dea‘s new coach, opened the transfer market with a bolt-action deal, that seen president Antonio Percassi really interested in the 26-years-old Italian striker.

Paloschi started his career with Milan, making his debut when he was 18 alongside Filippo Inzaghi, scoring his first Serie A goal just 18 seconds after his entrance. Frrom 2008 to 2011 Alberto played for Parma, assisting the Emiliana side to being promoted to Serie A. He scored 16 goals in 57 appearances in that stretch. In January 2011, Milan bought him back and co-owned him with Genoa: he made his debut against his former club (Genoa-Parma, 3-1) and scored his first goals and his first double against Roma.

Milan bought all of Paloschi, and then sold him to Chievo Verona: Alberto stayed there from the beginning of the 2011/12 season until last January when he was sold to Guidolin’s Swansea City for €10 million: after just 10 matches (scoring only 2 goals), Paloschi comes back to Italy, in “his” Bergamo.
