With the crucial match today to determine the winner of the group, Gerard Pique wants to insure that they do not face Italy.
“Italy is always Italy and that worries me, France plays at home and has the home field to their advantage. Germany is always there and fights all the way to the end. Croatia has quality and plays nice football, but we want to close out the group in command,” Pique told MARCA.
The second place team of the group plays Italy. Today’s matches are Spain-Croatia and Czech Republic-Turkey.
Spain have 6 points, Croatia 4, Czech Republic 1, Turkey 0.
