Genoa are set to make their first summer signing in 21 year old, Argentine midfielder, Lucas Ocampos.
Genoa are aiming to make some additions to their side in preparation for the next season.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Genoa have been in frequent contact with Olimpique Marseille for Lucas Ocampos. The rossoblu have virtually signed the player on a loan with a right to buy option.
The player will undergo his medicals in the coming hours and will become Genoa’s first signing of the summer. Ocampos will help add depth to Genoa’s midfield, which features the likes of Tomas Rincon and Blerim Dzemaili.
Lucas Ocampos is set to end his journey in France which featured spells at Monaco and Marseille.
