Inter are prepared to take legal action against Juventus due to the bianconeri’s involvement with Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi.
The Domenico Berardi transfer saga is set to take a new twist. Juventus co-owned the player until the summer of 2015, when Sassuolo bought Berardi outright. Now Inter are interested in the attacker and have made him their top target.
According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, Inter were unhappy with Giuseppe Marotta’s statements yesterday, as he stated that:
“Berardi will not join Inter.”
In fact, the nerazzurri have already taken this case to the federal court, and they are expecting legal action to be taken. This is because the Calcio Federation does not recognize the type of buy-back option Juventus are using. The court also does not allow for any types of transfer arrangements made between two clubs. Juventus should have no say in Berardi’s future, as it would violate the legal terms of the Calcio Federation.
The Domenico Berardi soap-opera is set to heat up even more.
