Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba highlighted the importance of the win and the meaning behind the dedication of his goal.
Pogba got his name on the scoresheet with a lovely free-kick in the second half condemning Torino to a 4-0 defeat. After the game, he was interviewed by RAI’s reporters and said,:
“It is a deserved victory because we played a great game. We wanted the victory and we got it. Now, however, we must think about the game against Carpi to go into the break in the best way possible.”
When asked about his free-kick goal and dedication, the Frenchman said,:
“I’ve been practicing a lot but I have to thank Pirlo because I learned a lot from him. I dedicated my goal to a young kid with cancer. I promised him I would. We have to think of things more important than football.”
