Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi is the next forward from the Viola destined to depart the club.
After spending much of the season on the bench and scoring only 2 goals, Giuseppe Rossi has failed to reach the levels he has enjoyed the past few years.
The arrival of Paulo Sousa as the head coach has changed things radically for ‘Pepito’, not taking into the account the series of severe knee injuries the Italy international has suffered.
Also contributing to the lack of playing time for Giuseppe Rossi is the explosion of Croatian forward Nikola Kalinic, as well as Federico Bernardeschi in attack.
Taking this all into account, Giuseppe Rossi could decide to seek pastures anew in January and look for a squad that will give him the chance to take a shot at making Antonio Conte’s Italy squad for the European Championship in June.
According to ‘Gazzetta TV’ there has reportedly been a survey by Bologna’s Sporting Director Pantaleo Corvino.
The proposal would be to take Giuseppe Rossi on a loan deal with no clauses attached. The plan would be to form a formidable strike force featuring Mattia Destro alongside Rossi.
