Possible Move to England for Simone Zaza

A move out of Juventus in January is a major possibility for Simone Zaza. The former Sassuolo striker has been the fourth choice striker for Massimiliano Allegri so far this season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zaza could see a potential move out of Turin. Despite scoring a brace in Juventus’ Coppa Italia match against Torino, Zaza’s future with the bianconeri remains undecided. After being brought in this summer from Sassuolo the 24-year-old has seen limited playing time behind fellow strikers Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata. Allegri has elected to start Zaza on the bench many times this season in both Serie A and Champions League.

Zaza has expressed that he would like to play more consistently so that a potential spot on Antonio Conte’s Azzurri squad for the 2016 Euro is not in jeopardy. With Allegri not being able to grant an increase in playing time a move to another team could be the best option. West Ham and Crystal Palace have shown plenty of interest in Zaza. A move that would see Zaza stay in Italy is the preferred one although a move to the Premier League cannot be ruled out. Zaza would prefer a six month loan to an Italian side to remain under the watch of Conte. Earlier in the summer, he was bought for €18 million. With Allegri not ruling out a permanent move, Beppe Marotta has stated that it would take 25 to 30 million euros to let Zaza go.

The former Sassuolo man has five goals in ten total appearances for Juventus this season.
