Ivan Strinic being monitored by a club Serie A

Ivan Strinic has played an extremely limited role for Napoli in this year’s Serie A.  Today, Tutto Mercato Web have reported that Sampdoria could be in for the Croatian Full-back.

Ivan Strinic has made 6 appearances in the Europa League, 2 in the Coppa Italia and only 5 appearances in the Serie A.  It is clear that Maurizio Sarri has deemed the Croatian full-back surplus to requirements, and now rumors have circulated that the blucerchiati have been evaluating Strinic’s performances and could make an offer for the defender in this summer’s transfer window.

For most of the year, Strinic has been a substitute for Faouzi Ghoulam, therefore playing time has been limited for Strinic due to Ghoulam’s great season for the partenopei.

It is estimated that Napoli deems the Croatian’s transfer market value at €5m.  No matter what, Napoli will be able to make at least a 100% profit on the full-back as they acquired Strinic in the 2015 winter transfer market, from Dnipro, on a free transfer.
