Suso’s performances at Genoa has Genoa President Enrico Preziosi requesting another year at the club for the Spanish winger.
His time at Milan at the beginning of the season was spent with a wonderful view of the pitch from the bench but a loan to Genoa in January revitalized Suso to the point his contributions put a smile on Enrico Preziosi’s face. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Ligurian club’s President wants the 22-year old winger to remain with the club despite the loan ending at the end of June. Preziosi made a request for an extra year but he will have to wait on the response from Suso’s parent club, A.C. Milan.
Despite one appearance in 15 games with Milan this season, he exploded at Genoa with 6 goals and 2 assists during his 6 month loan stint with the Grifone. This included a hat-trick performance against Frosinone in April.
