Liverpool is close to snatching one of Empoli’s stars from this season, on-loan from parent club Udinese.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, Empoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, on-loan from Udinese, is a step away from dawning a Liverpool jersey next season. The English media, particularly the Mirror, are reporting an amount of around €15 million to secure the Polish midfielder’s services. The rumblings about a possible deal all began following a reported meeting between Zielinski and Jurgen Klopp, back in April.
The 21-year old has been a vital piece of Empoli’s midfield this season, racking up 5 goals and 6 assists in 35 games.
