Reports surface that the Biancocelesti have proposed an offer to Fenerbahce for the Dutch striker.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Turkish media outlet Haberler reported that Lazio have made a €10 million offer to Fenerbahce for Robin Van Persie. The offer will be divided into two separate payments. Lazio will pay the first €5 million up front and the other half will be paid in June 2017. The only stumbling block in a potential transfer being sealed is the Dutchman’s wages. The former Manchester United star is making €5 million a season in Turkey, a salary out of Lotito’s price range.
Van Persie hit double digits in goals for the 6th consecutive time in his career, scoring 16 goals in 31 appearances for the Turkish club.
