A contract extension with the Ligue 1 Champion could ruin Juventus’ hopes of signing the Uruguayan striker.
After waving goodbye to Ibrahimovic, Paris Saint-Germain do not want to let another one of their attacking stars leave the Parc des Princes. As reported by Spanish publication AS, the French club plans on offering Edinson Cavani a contract extension, would be prolong his current deal from 2018 until 2020.
This renewal will likely put a dent in Juventus’ plans to lure the striker to Turin as they continue to search for that star power up front. It is also being reported that Atletico Madrid have dreams of bringing in Cavani and could give the Bianconeri some stiff competition on the market.
